Seminar descriptions and the Seminar Schedule for the 2021 Show will be available approximately three weeks prior to the show. In the meantime, here are the seminars that were presented at the 2019 show.

Show attendees requiring seminars in alternative format are asked to contact the Show Office one hour prior to the seminar.

RV/Electricity Seminars - Presented by Mike Sokol

Campground Pedestals: Testing, Hookup and Maintenance

How much power is available from 20, 30 and 50 amp campground pedestals, demonstration of how to measure a pedestal to be sure it's safe to plug into, dog-bone adapters for various RV shore power plugs and pedestals, maintaining your shore power connections properly.

Surge Protectors and Hot-Skin/Voltage

Overview of why surge protectors are needed in campgrounds, description of surge protector types (EMS, Basic, Portable, Installed), demonstration of over- and under-voltage conditions, open ground and hot-skin/voltage detection.

Portable RV Generators

Overview of generator types including inverter-non-inverter, gasoline/propane, noise level considerations for boondocking with a generator, generator grounding and bonding principles, soft-starter circuits on air conditioners to reduce generator size, 120/240-volt generator hookups to 30 and 50 amp RV shore power.

RV Park Etiquette is just as it sounds - how to behave and NOT behave during your stay in an RV park or campground. This seminar will discuss how your actions might positively or negatively impact others camped around you.

Choosing an RV is a discussion about the different types of RVs and hopes to answer attendees’ questions about what type of RV might be the right first one for them. Many new RVers struggle with the question of what sort of RV to purchase and this seminar is designed to help answer those questions.

RV Maintenance is a discussion about maintenance items that most RV owners are capable of performing themselves. This will include what maintenance to perform and when to do it including simple troubleshooting and repair.
